If you want the gentlest learning curve: Stock Market

Equity/cash market trading is usually the most beginner-friendly starting point. There's no leverage forcing outsized moves against you, price behavior is comparatively easier to study, and the fundamentals you learn here — reading charts, understanding volume, managing risk — carry over directly into every other market.

If you're drawn to leverage: understand F&O carries real risk

Futures & Options trading lets you control a larger position with less capital, which is exactly why it attracts beginners — and exactly why it's also where beginners lose money fastest. Options pricing involves extra factors (often called "the Greeks") that genuinely need to be taught properly before you trade with real size. This is not a market to learn by trial and error with real capital.

If you're interested in crypto: volatility cuts both ways

Crypto markets are accessible with very little starting capital and trade 24/7, which makes them appealing. But volatility that can move a position sharply in your favor can just as easily move sharply against you, often overnight. Risk management matters here more than in almost any other market, not less.
